C.A. Cole won the 2016 Dogwood Fiction Prize. Her latest work has appeared, or is upcoming, in Gargoyle, Fifty for 50, Blood, and Thunder Review as well as other places online. She has degrees in both Geriatric Nutrition and Counseling Gerontology and has worked for a health program and in a nursing home. She currently resides in Colorado where she spends time working on short fiction and taking online courses.
